Hispanic Heritage Month Story Time
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a Story Time at Hilltop Books
This storytime will feature two Heritage speakers of Spanish who will read books in Spanish. Christina Reichert, who taught Spanish for 25 years, and Corinne Scioli, Principal of Jenks Elementary School, will read Isla Bajo el Sol and El Día En Que Descubres Quién Eres.
This story time is geared toward Kindergarten and 1st graders, but we invite siblings and others, too. Youngsters who speak or are learning Spanish will especially enjoy this story time, but those without experience with Spanish are welcome to learn with us.
While this is an outdoor event, we encourage you to bring your mask so that you can browse our collection indoors after the reading. We have a growing collection of children’s books in Spanish along with books for the entire family!
